Ghostbox Terms of Use

Last updated: 2026-05-01

These Terms govern your use of Ghostbox, the Ghostbox website, installers, release binaries, documentation, and related services.

By installing or using Ghostbox, you agree to these Terms and the Ghostbox Proprietary License.

What Ghostbox is

Ghostbox is software for launching short-lived development machines using third-party infrastructure such as GitHub Actions, tunnels, shells, agents, and related developer tools.

Ghostbox is not a VPS provider, hosting provider, secrets manager, security product, backup product, or guaranteed availability service.

Your responsibilities

  • your GitHub account, repositories, workflows, runners, usage limits, billing, and secrets;
  • your use of Cloudflare, Tor, OpenAI, Anthropic, Google, or other third-party services;
  • the code, commands, agents, packages, scripts, and workloads you run;
  • complying with applicable law and third-party terms;
  • protecting your credentials, API keys, tokens, SSH keys, and repository secrets;
  • reviewing agent output and behavior before trusting it.

Do not use Ghostbox for unlawful, abusive, harmful, infringing, deceptive, or unauthorized activity.

Agents and automation

Ghostbox can help run coding agents or other automated tools in a temporary environment.

You are responsible for what those agents do. Ghostbox does not guarantee that an agent is safe, correct, non-destructive, secure, private, or compliant. Treat agent activity as potentially unsafe and limit secrets, permissions, and access accordingly.

Third-party services

Ghostbox depends on third-party services. Those services may change, fail, rate-limit, suspend, charge, restrict, or terminate access independently of Ghostbox.

DO-SAY-GO is not responsible for third-party services, their availability, their terms, their security, or their handling of your data.

Secrets and data

Ghostbox may help you pass selected secrets or environment variables into temporary machines. You are responsible for choosing what secrets to expose.

Do not expose secrets to a Ghostbox machine unless you are comfortable with the code, agents, packages, scripts, and tools running there.

Availability

Ghostbox may change, break, be rate-limited, become unavailable, or stop working at any time. Temporary machines may expire, fail to start, lose connectivity, or disappear.

Do not rely on Ghostbox for production workloads, critical infrastructure, emergency use, regulated workloads, or anything requiring guaranteed uptime.

Intellectual property

Ghostbox, DO-SAY-GO, Cycle of Ghosts, related names, logos, badges, artwork, software, binaries, documentation, website content, and branding are owned by DO-SAY-GO or its licensors.

You may not copy, redistribute, resell, reverse engineer, decompile, disassemble, modify, commercialize, or create a competing service from Ghostbox except as expressly permitted by the Ghostbox Proprietary License or by written permission.

Feedback

If you provide feedback, ideas, suggestions, bug reports, or feature requests, you grant DO-SAY-GO permission to use them without restriction or compensation.

Disclaimer

Ghostbox is provided "as is" and "as available," without warranties of any kind.

Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, DO-SAY-GO will not be liable for lost profits, lost data, lost secrets, account suspension, third-party service issues, downtime, security incidents, indirect damages, consequential damages, or claims arising from your use of Ghostbox.

Changes

DO-SAY-GO may update these Terms at any time. Continued use of Ghostbox after changes means you accept the updated Terms.
